It saves you money when used instead of a car or taxi.There are so many scenarios where an electric scooter is a better option than a car or tax (and when you prefer not to cycle). A short trip to the shops, to work, to the subway, etc. I go to work almost two kilometers from the subway station. I cycle twice a day, but it's expensive to take a taxi often. Now I use an electric scooter and I save $4 a day on this one alone. Combined with this, I keep using it instead of cars when traveling locally, and it saves me more than twice the cost.
