Keep a consistent log
Record distance in one unit and identify the pair used. A simple manual total can be useful without collecting exact location traces.
Look at condition
Add observations about the outsole, upper, fit and comfort. Mileage alone does not account for surfaces, runner differences or storage conditions.
Explain changes
When you retire or rotate a pair, record the practical reason. Avoid claiming that every shoe becomes unsafe at one universal number.
Use your shoe profile
Any Run lets you store size, total kilometres, status and photographs. A public profile should contain only information you are comfortable sharing.
