Remove loose dirt

Let heavy mud settle where appropriate and remove it gently. Avoid assuming that a washing machine or a strong cleaner is suitable for every shoe.

Dry with care

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and avoid improvising with intense direct heat. Keep the shoe in a place with suitable airflow.

Check components

Inspect laces, insoles and the outsole before the next run. Replacements should suit the shoe rather than change fit unexpectedly.

Record observations

A dated photo helps you distinguish routine wear from a developing problem. A photograph alone cannot determine whether a material change is a manufacturing defect.
